Cookie & Tracking Policy

Short version: two cookies that keep you signed in and keep forms safe, two small items in your browser's storage, and no advertising or analytics trackers at all.

1. What we do not use

No advertising cookies, no analytics or statistics tools, no tracking pixels, no social-media widgets and no fingerprinting. Nothing on AstroMatch4u follows you to other websites.

2. Our cookies

All are strictly necessary: the site cannot work without them.

sessionid
Keeps you signed in. It holds a random identifier, none of your details. Your browser's scripts cannot read it, it is sent only over a secure connection, and it expires after 5 minutes without activity or when you close the browser.
csrftoken
Security. It proves that a form or button press came from AstroMatch4u itself and not from another website acting on your behalf. It holds a random value, no personal details, and lasts up to a year.
astro_offer
Only if you opened a discount link. It holds that discount's code, nothing about you, so the discounted price applies when you pay. It expires when the discount does.

3. Browser storage

One item is kept in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Remembers whether you collapsed the side menu.

Nothing about your chart or your birth details is kept in your browser. On a shared or public computer, log out when you finish (or leave it: you are signed out after 5 minutes without activity).

4. Other companies

Two services you use through AstroMatch4u set their own cookies on their own pages, under their own policies:

  • Google, when you choose "Sign in with Google" and you are on Google's sign-in page.
  • Razorpay, inside the payment window, for payment security and fraud checks.

Neither loads on any other part of AstroMatch4u.

5. Your choices

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings. If you block sessionid or csrftoken you will not be able to sign in or use your dashboard; everything else in this policy you can clear at any time without losing anything stored on our side.

Because we use only what the site needs to work, we do not show a cookie banner. If that ever changes, we will ask first.
