1. What the readings are

AstroMatch4u casts your chart from the Swiss Ephemeris and applies fixed rules from the Jyotisha tradition to produce scores and readings. The scores describe a chart according to those rules. They are not a measurement of you, and they have not been shown to predict personality, behaviour, events or compatibility.

AstroMatch4u is provided for interest, reflection and entertainment.

Astrology shows possibilities. Your actions shape outcomes. A birth chart represents potential patterns, tendencies and possible life scenarios, rather than a fixed destiny. Your karma, decisions, efforts and circumstances influence how you experience those possibilities.

2. Not professional advice

Nothing on AstroMatch4u is medical, psychological, legal, financial, career or relationship advice. For any of these, speak to a qualified professional.

If you are going through a hard time, please talk to someone you trust, a doctor, a counsellor or a local helpline rather than an astrology tool.

3. Health readings

The Medical Astrology page and the health report describe what astrological tradition links with each part of a chart. They cannot diagnose, predict or rule out any illness. Never start, stop or change a treatment, medicine or diet because of them, and never delay seeing a doctor because a reading looks reassuring.

4. Marriage and Manglik

Guna Milan points, koota scores and the Manglik check follow traditional rules. They are one old way of looking at two charts, not a verdict on a relationship or a person. Please do not accept or turn down a partner, or judge anybody's character, because of a score here.

5. Past life stories

The Past Life & Karma page, and its story, are an imaginative reading of symbolic placements. They make no factual claim about any earlier life, person, place or event.

6. Accuracy of a chart

A chart is only as exact as the birth details entered. A few minutes' difference in the time of birth can move the ascendant and change every house. We use the Lahiri ayanamsa and whole-sign houses; other software, and other astrologers, may use different settings and show a different chart or navamsa for the same details.

7. AI-written text

Some sections are written by AI from your chart's facts. AI can make mistakes, repeat itself or sound more certain than it should. Those sections are marked "Written by AI". See the AI Disclosure for which features use AI and how.

8. Your decisions

You are responsible for the decisions you make. To the fullest extent the law allows, AstroMatch4u is not liable for any decision, loss or harm arising from reliance on a reading. The limits on our liability are set out in the Terms & Conditions.

9. Other services

Signing in (Google), payments (Razorpay) and some chart data (OpenStreetMap Nominatim, astrologyapi.com) are provided by other companies under their own terms. We are not responsible for their content or availability.
