The agreement between you and AstroMatch4u. Short version: it is an entertainment tool built on astrological rules, so please do not make important decisions on the strength of it.

1. Accepting these terms
By using AstroMatch4u you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
2. What the service is
AstroMatch4u takes your birth date, time and place, casts a Vedic astrological chart from astronomical ephemeris data, and produces readings by applying fixed rule tables drawn from Jyotisha tradition.
The astronomy is real: planetary positions are computed from the Swiss Ephemeris under the Lahiri ayanamsa. The interpretation is symbolic. The scores describe features of a chart according to a traditional rule set. They are not measurements of you.
Astrology shows possibilities. Your actions shape outcomes. A birth chart represents potential patterns, tendencies and possible life scenarios, rather than a fixed destiny. Your karma, decisions, efforts and circumstances influence how you experience those possibilities.
3. Not professional advice
AstroMatch4u is provided for interest and entertainment. Nothing it produces is medical, psychological, legal, financial, relationship or career advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional.
In particular, please do not use it to decide whether to begin or end a relationship, to judge another person's character, to make health decisions, or in any hiring, lending, housing, insurance or similar decision about anybody. Its readings have no predictive or diagnostic validity and must not be treated as though they do.
If you are struggling with your mental health or a relationship, please speak to a doctor, a licensed therapist or a local support service rather than to an astrology tool.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use AstroMatch4u, and anyone whose birth details you enter (for example in Marriage Match) must be 18 or over and must have agreed to it. The app does not accept a date of birth under 18.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- enter another person's birth details without their knowledge and consent;
- use readings to profile, screen, rank or discriminate against any person;
- present output as a professional assessment, diagnosis or prediction;
- scrape, hammer or attempt to overload the service, or bypass its rate limits;
- probe, reverse engineer or interfere with the service or its security;
- resell or commercially redistribute the readings without our written permission.
6. Your information
What we collect and where it goes is set out in the Privacy Policy, the Cookie & Tracking Policy and the AI Disclosure. In short: you sign in with Google, there is no password, and your birth details are sent to the services named there only to cast and write up your chart. You confirm you have the right to submit any details you enter, including a partner's.
7. Payments and refunds
Paid readings are one-time purchases taken through Razorpay, with no subscription. When and how we refund is set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. What the readings are, and are not, is in the Disclaimer.
8. Intellectual property
The AstroMatch4u name, interface, scoring rules and written interpretations belong to us and are protected by copyright. You may use and share your own readings freely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The underlying astrological tradition is of course nobody's property — only this particular implementation of it is.
9. Availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Chart casting depends on external providers, so it can fail or slow down for reasons outside our control. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may remove a profile that breaches these terms.
10. Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that readings are accurate, complete or meaningful.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any decision you or anybody else takes on the basis of a reading. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service, which for the free service is nil.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AstroMatch4u is established, and disputes will be heard by its courts, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
